Conceived as a ‘ Public Room’ for The Insitute of Art Design and Technology Dun Laoghaire (IADT) , the project involved the conversion and remodelling of an existing retail unit to create a new and innovative public venue – ‘The Drawing Project’. It objective is to allow the IADT to interact with the Public by giving the college a dynamic presence on the High Street.

It is intended to function as a teaching space during term-time and a more general flexible exhibition space during “out of term” periods for touring exhibitions including invited master class/visiting lecturer, solo exhibitions, touring exhibitions by foreign cultural organisations, alumni-curated exhibitions and Erasmus projects with EU art school partners.
