Slid in between an existing building and a manufacturing plant, the new Headquarters for Kilsaran transforms a restricted pocket of brownfield site to create a workspace organised around courtyard gardens – where landscape and workspace are intermeshed.

The project, which consists of some 3000M2 of bespoke office and support space, transforms and extends an existing building to create an innovative, open, and connective workspace set within a reimagined landscape.  Break-out spaces for hot-desking and meeting rooms are organised around a series of voids which create an open, connected work environment for Kilsaran

The project showcases the client’s range of products and expertise in design: A structure of precast concrete walls, columns, slabs and beams are exposed internally to provide an architectural finish as well as acting as a heat sink for office spaces while an ABK-designed precast concrete cladding panel system forms part of the external envelope of the project.

Transformation, re-use and sustainability underpin this project where an existing structure is reimagined, and a brownfield site is reinvented.
